The Byrds - "I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better" 1965
"I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better" was initially released as a B-side in June 1965, written by Gene Clark it was heavily promoted by Columbia Records during the time that "All I Really Want to Do" spent time on the Billboard charts. The song managed to chart in its own right at number 103. Since its release the song has become a rock music standard, with many cover versions over the years. It is also considered by many critics to be Clark's and the bands best and most popular song, with Rolling Stone magazine ranking it at number 234 on their list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

LET'S GO - THE ROUTERS-1962
The Routers were an American instrumental group who had their first hit with this song written by Lanny Duncan and his brother Robert Duncan, it made #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1962. Although this was the first hit recording of the song I think the Ventures version is better and more popular.

The British Walkers - Shake-1967
The British Walkers weren’t actually British, they were an American band whose sound was influenced by The Rolling Stones, The Who, and The Kinks. Forming in 1964, The British Walkers lasted only four years, breaking up in 1968. Initially, “Shake” had been written and recorded by Sam Cooke. Their version released on the Cameo Parkway label in Mar 1967 was a top 40 hit, getting airplay at radio stations such as WMCA in New York and WRKO in Boston.

The Jordan Brothers..Gimme Some Lovin' 1966
Went to high school in a suburb of Boston, Natick Ma, and this recording of “Gimme Some Lovin'” recorded in 1966 was the version a lot of radio stations played in my area. It was there biggest hit, and charted at No. 1 in Boston, Philly, Baltimore and some other r&b stations, but no where else. When I finally heard The Spencer Davis record it took me a while to get use to it after hearing this recording first so many times.

Eagles - "Peaceful Easy Feeling" 1972
Although Don Henley sang lead on more of their songs Glenn Frey was my favorite singer in the band and this song written by Jack Tempchin is his most soulful vocal.
